Daddy + clippers = 5 bald boys

I'm not a fan of my kids and the bald look. I prefer them with hair. Brent begs all the time to do this and I always have an excuse like I need to get their pictures taken or we need a family picture soon or it's too cold or something. I finally gave in since it is summer although as soon as these grow out I am getting a sibling picture done. I am the only one in the house with hair now!

Cade screamed through the whole thing. (so did Carson) As you can see he got over it when Brent told him that he looked like an "army guy" now. This is their goofy picture and Trevor says the "W" he is making with his hand is for "word."

Bounceopolis with grandma Judy

Grandma Judy came to visit and took da boyz to Bounceopolis. (Really fun indoor bounce play place) She took all kinds of pictures while I ran across the street to the outlets, but forgot to get one with her in it!

Trevor "helping" Carson. Sometimes I think he wishes they wouldn't help him so much.

Trevor and Ethan loving fighting like American Gladiators.

Carson super happy to go with big brother up the ladder in the maze jumphouse.

Baseball coaches and trophies

Both Trevor and Ethan were lucky to have amazing coaches this year. Baseball season almost killed me, but I am sure it was harder on these wonderful men that gave so much of their time. Trevor's team had a swim party. Here he is getting his trophy from his awesome coaches.

At Ethan's party at the park Carson wanted to wear the baseball hat. So cute!

Ethan happy to get his trophy.

Trevor the perfectionist

It is no secret that this boy is a perfectionist. He takes his schooling (and sports) very seriously. He puts so much pressure on himself that I try hard not to add to it. I debated on whether to post this award he got because he was so upset about it. He had straight A's all year and to his surprise he received an all A's and B's award for the 3rd trimester because of one A- that slipped to a B+. He felt like a complete failure and was so upset and there was nothing I could do to make him feel better. I am so proud of how hard he works and how I never really have to get after him to do his work. He always does it on his own which makes my life so much easier. He is a winner and perfect to me. I love you Trevor.

Ethan the catcher, pitcher and first baseman

Ethan loves playing catcher. I'm not sure why since you have to wear so much equipment in the heat. He is pretty cute huh?

He has really strong legs and can squat longer than most of the kids instead of having to kneel in the dirt.

He started pitching a couple weeks ago. Up until then it was coach pitch at his level. His face shows how serious and intense he is about it. If you can't see it good enough double click on the picture to see if it gets bigger for you.

I yelled his name while he was playing first base and this is the look I got over his shoulder. Seriously adorable little first baseman.

Trevor the pitcher

Trevor still loves to pitch! This game went long! (NO JOKE~3 1/2 hours) What have I gotten myself into? These kids are 8 and 9 years old!

1st Pinewood Derby

Trevor had a lot of fun at his first pinewood derby. Thanks to dad's fun tools he got the sportiest car award! Ethan and Cade said it was their car too. One day dad will be making several cars for these pinewood derby's!

Ethan's character award

Ethan got the character award at school for demonstrating good character all year in the following areas. Caring, Giving, and Service * Justice and Fairness * Leadership, Initiative, and Teamwork * Respect * Responsibility * and Trustworthiness. Each month the school focuses on a different character trait to help kids work on their character. Ethan was excited to be chosen! Here he is (in the middle front) with all the first graders that were chosen for the year.

Cade's soccer class

Cade's been taking a soccer class for about 7 weeks. He loves it! Here he is his running back for a water break with his friend Bryson by his side and his friend Trevor behind them.

This class they set up a ton of cones and had to go kick them all down.

At one point he tried to stop during class to clean up the cones. I had to tell him to wait until he was done to clean up. As soon as class was over he was running trying to stack them all up. (Hmmm... Maybe I make him pick up too much at home? Naaaa...)
