Halloween

Sam was woken from a short nap after a long day of soccer games to go to our trunk or treat at church. Can you tell?

 

 

 

 

Pumpkins carved by daddy again this year. No one wanted to try to carve them cause daddy is so good at it. Brent did these all in an hour to have them ready for our ward trunk or treat's centerpieces and pumpkin carving contest. And yes, he chose the green one from the pumpkin patch on purpose.

 

Bishop's Pumpkin Patch

We finally got to Bishop's pumpkin patch as a family on Friday! (With only a couple days left to carve our pumpkins we needed to pick them fast!) First stop was going to our friend's pony rides. Da Boyz love the ponies!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmmmmm... You thinking what I'm thinking? Maybe I could get Brent to build me one of these in the backyard for time outs!

Ethan's field trip

Ethan's first field trip for 3rd grade was to Lodi Lake. It was the same day Cade had one so I was really bummed I couldn't go! I love field trips with my kiddos. Brent was happy to take my place and spend time with Ethan out learning about how to take care of our environment and spending time in the outdoors.

Cade's first kindergarten field trip we headed out to the pumpkin patch. We started with a HAY RIDE! SO FUN!

 

I got to hang out with one of my favorite girlfriends Jessica.

 

Cade and Mia crack me up. They both have camera happy mom's and kept stopping and happily posing for the camera. We were searching and searching for pumpkins the kids could carry out themselves. They weren't allowed help so it had to be light enough for them.

 

Cade of course had to get a heavy one and carry it over his shoulder most of the way back. He made it though.

Cade's soccer season is done. GO TIGERS! He had a blast with his team this year. (It helped that both of his coaches and most of the team he already knew from church.)

 

Whenever he was taking a break from the game he wanted me to take pictures of him making faces at the camera. Each shot he would change his look just a little.

When he got his trophy he held it up high he was so excited! The coaches did cute individual awards and he got "most potent" tiger.
