Labor Day weekend we headed up to see my friend Wendy and her family at a campground right on the river for the day. We had lots of fun hanging on the beach and the boys tried their luck at panning for gold. Even though they didn't find anything, they found it interesting that people actually did that once upon a time.
I would love to say we vacationed the whole weekend, but part of the weekend became getting the house back in order (updating closets, cleaning out the garage etc.) from summer and ready for school and soccer season even though it was 3 weeks into school already!
