Today is 12 years for Brent and I. When I reflect on how much we have done and gone through at this point I can't imagine what else we have in store! Since 1996 we have earned 2 college degrees and Brent earned multiple flight ratings, we moved 12 times including cross country moves, he is on his second career, we had four children, (born in 3 states) went on lots of trips etc etc etc. I'm so thankful to have someone who loves me for who I am and is patient as I try to improve myself. Here we are at Great America the day before Brent left on his mission. This was 2 years before we were married so it was actually 14 years ago. I realized I don't have any of our wedding pictures scanned (yes, we got married prior to the digital age) into my computer to compare us to. I need to get on that!
He is so worn out from the last 12 years that he even can fall asleep watching Olympics with remote in hand! (I was at a meeting and the kids were all having quiet/naptime.) Isn't he cute?

I don't know what I love more about the 14 year ago picture. Brents "90210" inspired out fit and hair, your shorts or the fact that you are holding a stuffed unicorn, not to mention you are at Great America the day before he left for his mission!!! I LOVE the 90ies! Congratulations on 12 years. You guys have accomplished so much! How exciting. My favorite being my 4 nephews! Hope you had a great celebration and that you have many more years of Bliss! Love you guys!

Wow... 12 years... you really have done a lot. I like the freudian slip in your typing about brent having fight degrees instead of flight degrees.. heehee... that twelve years went fast, I am sure the next 12 will be faster, then on to eternity... yahoo... hold on it's a wild ride! Love you both!!
