I am queen of forgetting my camera. I would show you pictures of our Memorial Day with friends where we went rafting, played volleyball and the kids played in a jump house all day if I had them. I would show you pictures of our fun ward campout in June with something like 80 families if I had them. That was WAY fun and the kids slept ALL night. Brent went up a day early with the 3 older boys. Luckily when I forgot my camera for our 4th of July weekend Aunt Amy and Grandma Jenny were kind enough to take some pictures for me. What I am glad you don't have a picture of is me having a total breakdown in the car when I realized I had forgotten my camera AGAIN with my husband staring at me in disbelief that his wife could actually be so upset about forgetting a camera. Some things you just can't explain to a man.

The secret: buy the smallest camera available and keep it in your purse.
Sadly, I do keep it in my purse, but I take it out and use it to download or recharge and think it is in my purse and it isn't!
I am known for having little breakdowns like this around our house. Whether it's a camera or not! Next time take pictures from your phone (although I know it's not the same) maybe that would make you feel a little bit better when Amy or Mom aren't around. I've had to do that a few times.
I feel your pain & I totally understand the tears behind a missing camera! We just don't get those moments back!
