Trevor got stitches yesterday. I wish I could say it was some fantastic story, but he tripped over his backpack that was on the floor by the kitchen table and hit his eye on the chair. I was coming downstairs so didn't see it happen, only witnessed the gushing of blood that ensued. I think it was way more traumatic for him knowing he was going to get stitches than it actually was getting the stitches themselves. I'm actually surprised with all these boys I haven't had to make more trips for this kind of injury!

Just you wait. As they get bigger they get more daring. My bro's kamikaze stage didn't start til he was like 10 or 12
oh, give him a kiss from me.
You can tell him that he and Uncle Christian will have matching scars. Only Christian's came from a basketball game.
I have a scar there, too, and when mom gets home I will have to get her to remind me what happened. I know I was pretty little. I have had a million stitches in my lifetime and Kiff has never had them. He had this weird cyst thing in his leg after we were married and they had to remove it. He thought for sure he would get stitches and was so excited about it, too. Then the doc stuck a butterfly bandaid over it instead because it was so tiny. I thought that was pretty funny. What kind of weirdo longs for stitches anyway?
Avery got her first stitches right there as well. Welcome to the club Trevor! Is it weird that all my girls have had stitches by age 2 and Kenyon is the only one who hasn't? He did get some medal thing to go all the way through the side of his mouth at the same time that Trevor was gettting stitches though... Now he has a super puffy face and looks crazy.
